Starting each day with thankfulness will create good vibes that will carry you through any day. Intuitively we all know this, but there are still those mornings where we wake up on the wrong side of the bed and get caught up in life's little unhappy things and forget one important thing - gratitude.
Wake Up & Meditate
The minute you open your eyes in the morning, think 'I am grateful,' and choose a few reasons why that is so. When you start your day with a grateful heart it gets you off on the right foot and instantly you have a better, more positive mindset. Meditating and taking some quiet time before you start your busy day helps relax and prepare you or anything that might come your way as well, which also keeps you calmer and happier.
Start A Gratitude Journal
Starting a gratitude journal can help you further fuel your positive thoughts and you'll have something to look back at on the days when you're feeling a little blue. When you look back through your journal later on you might begin to see that you experienced growth through being more grateful and showing it.
When starting this journal be sure to keep out any negativity; you want this to be a happy and positive thing - also feel free to use it to doodle in it that helps you think positively!

Let Go
Letting go can mean so many things. Let go of negative feelings and of attachment. Anything that may conflict with your feelings of gratefulness. Attachment is rooted in expectation, whereas gratitude approaches life with an open palm and accepts what is offered.
Remember to release your negative emotions, but do so responsibly. One of my favorite ways to release such emotions is to go for a run or walk and just think things through, this way I get a chance to work it out and I don't have to worry about 'exploding' at someone I care about.
